Outtabounds enjoys indoor golf fun

DETAIL

“We held the first ever Virtually GolfSixes competition at our indoor, single bay venue,” explains Rob Witt from Outtabounds in Nottingham. “It went very well. The kids enjoyed them selves and developed their games. Being a single bay, meant that the whole team was behind every shot giving support and cheer. It was great to see.

“Kids that were new to golf got stuck in and found the experience encouraging and fun. A great way to get in to golf in a supportive environment. More experienced juniors used it as a way to further develop their skills and competitive edge.

“We used gspro, set the course to par 3 setting, then select 6 holes that were of suitable length and difficulty. It’s very easy to replicate for other teams.

“Many juniors that didn’t know each other before are now going out on the course together arranging games after school.”
